It has been a busy 12 months for Selo…

Earlier this year we brought our concealed frame doorsets, pocket door systems and riser door systems under the exciting new Selo brand. Our vision is to make your lives easier through innovation in both products and service, and our strapline ‘experience simplicity’ captures the essence of what Selo is and what we strive to achieve.

We also gave you an improved choice of products in 2015, including:

Enigma
  Pocket sliding door system
Strong, simple to specify, simple to understand and simple to install

Quadra  Metal riser door system
An economical solution while also being swift and simple to install

Una  Timber door concealed riser doorset
New product for situations where a metal door is not suitable.

Selo involved in a number of stunning projects

As well as new products, a company rebrand and the addition of several new team members, we’ve been involved in a number of prestigious projects across London and the South East.

The Shard is one of the most iconic buildings in Europe and has helped to regenerate the new London Bridge Quarter of London.

Selo worked closely with the architect, client and contractor on the design of our Arriva and Innova doorsets, contributing to the 17th floor of this instantly recognisable building.

Victoria Square
is one of a number of projects designed to kick-start the private rental sector in the UK. The £45 million development is adjacent to North Acton Underground and we worked closely with the architects and the main contractor, Henry Construction, to achieve a doorset design that could provide the desired seamless and contemporary finish while still fitting within the budget.

The project, which the architects call ‘a building of distinction and timeless quality’ comprises 800 Selo Arriva doorsets.

Our minimalist, space-efficient Enigma pocket sliding doors were the ideal choice for the latest phase of the prestigious One Tower Bridge development. Meanwhile, in the brand new 31 storey Canaletto Tower, located next to City Road Basin, our Quadra riser door systems and Arriva and Innova concealed frame doorsets were all chosen for a pristine effect throughout the building.

As well as countless prestigious projects, we also moved home this year. Our new 10,000 sq. ft. headquarters in Houghton Regis, Bedfordshire, acts as a central spoke for distribution from our three further factories UK wide, as well as housing the assembly of some of the products.
